State of the Schools, 2014

The regional school community is invited to attend the Freehold Regional High School District’s (FRHSD) State of the Schools Town Hall Meeting on Wednesday, March 19, 2014. The State of the Schools Town Hall Meeting will be held at the Howell Township Administrative Complex, located at 4567 Route 9 North in Howell at 7:00 p.m.

Join Superintendent Charles Sampson and a panel of executive school administrators for a Town Hall Meeting on the state of Freehold Regional High School District schools including Colts Neck High School, Freehold High School, Freehold Township High School, Howell High School, Manalapan High School and Marlboro High School! Implementation Roadmap completed!

Freehold Regional High School District administrators announced this week that their five year strategic plan implementation roadmap is completed. The 30 member strategic planning steering committee recently reviewed and approved 32 action plans that will lead the district on a journey towards excellence over the next five years."We have successfully tapped into the abundant talent both within the FRHSD schools and communities to produce a truly unique plan. Board of Education Adopts Mission

The Freehold Regional High School District, at its regular meeting on February 27, 2012, adopted the Steering Committee's proposed mission statement.

The schools of the Freehold Regional High School District form a diverse and supportive community offering innovative and comprehensive programs that inspire students to maximize their potential, preparing them to navigate an evolving global society.

FRHSD Completes School-based Town Hall Meetings

The Freehold Regional High School District announces completion of its strategic planning school-based town hall meetings. Throughout the month of January, strategic planning school-based town hall meetings were held at each school to present the strategic plan draft to the staff and student bodies.

Framework Revisions

We have posted a revised framework, in response to all of the feedback we have received. Hundreds of people provided thoughts and insights through our online survey and at community and other meetings. Thank you for your participation!

We continue to gather feedback, but are also beginning to lay the foundation for the action planning phase. During this upcoming phase, teams will set detailed goals, list implementation steps, and describe measureable targets.

District Unveils Proposed Mission & Strategic Plan Framework Draft

The key goals of the strategic plan draft encompassing, Colts Neck High School, Howell High School, Freehold High School, Freehold Township High School, Manalapan High School and Marlboro High School, are to ensure that: all students actively participate in their community and the civic process, all students explore and pursue an individualized post-secondary plan and all students exceed expectations for proficiency on local, state, national and international assessments.

Community Relations Committee Reviews Draft Framework

The work of the FRHSD Strategic Planning Steering Committee saw its first public presentation on November 17, 2011. Mr. Jeffrey Moore, Administrative Supervisor, presented the draft framework to the Board of Education Curriculum Committee, and engaged them in an activity to provide feedback on the proposed mission, objectives, and strategies that will be the foundation of the plan. Key district and building administrators, members of the Board of Education, and members of the Strategic Planning Steering Committee were also present.
